BNI Member Dr. Rick Marrotte Serves on Board Again

Dr. Richard Marrotte was recently selected for an eleventh straight year to serve
as a Senior Clinical Examiner for the National Board of Examiners in Optometry.

Dr. Marrotte, a long time resident of Boca Raton and has been in private practice for over 21 years. His specialties include LASER Vision Consultation, Low Vision Care , Rehabilitation after Stroke or Brain Injury, CRT Night Retainer Contact Lenses, Keratoconus Rehabilitation
and Primary Care of the Eyes.

The comprehensive clinical skills evaluation is given several times per year at over a dozen locations around the country to assess the abilities of new graduates in the profession of Optometry. Locally, the test is administered at NOVA-Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale the weekend of April 14th and 15th 2007. All Optometry School graduates must pass this Board Examination in order to practice Optometry in the United States.

Outgoing BNI Business Exchange President Robert "Toner Bob" Hagen was presented with a plaque in appreciation for his year of hard work and dedication to the chapter by member Randy Bring, Transworld Business Systems, at the April 4th meeting. Bob served as president from April 2006 through March 2007.
